	Title: Stranglers - No More Heroes Notes: Punk with a deep, deep bass sound. The Stranglers had a dark energy, and your mother probably wouldn't approve of this. Blatantly offensive lyrics on some tracks. They had a long and fairly successful career. I was very fond of their Meninblack science-fiction theme LP, which was a real departure and didn't sell very well at the time. They later softened their sound a little and achieved more chart success with tracks like Golden Brown. The Stranglers actually date back to 1974(!) and had a punkish bar-band sound before punk was born. The MP3 link below has the remixed tracks. "Bring on the Nubiles" is pretty offensive. Another remix? Can't leave well enough alone, can we?
